REMOVING MICROPLASTICS? AQUAPORIN INSIDE™ CAN BE THE SOLUTION
Aquaporin A/S is participating in the public private partnership, BONUS CLEANWATER – a collaboration between universities, high-tech companies, and wastewater operators.
The €3.8 million project is funded by the EU, via the BONUS programme, Vinnova (Sweden), Innovation fund Denmark, and the German Ministry for Education and Science. Aquaporin A/S will work alongside Veolia Water Technologies, Biofos A/S, Liqtech A/S, Primozone Production AB, Aalborg University, Aarhus University, Lund University, and The German Federal Institute of Hydrology (BfG).
The partnerships aim for reducing the input of microplastic and xenobiotics from wastewater led into the Baltic Sea by exploring, developing and comparing innovative eco-technology approaches. The Aquaporin Inside™ Technology will be tested as a part of the solution.
