NOMINATION FOR EUROPEAN INVENTOR AWARD 2014
The European Patent Office today published the nominated list of finalists for the European Inventor Award 2014, one of the most popular distinctions for inventors worldwide. The list has been compiled by an international jury with renowned figures from politics, business and academia.
Aquaporin’s invention, “Membrane for filtering of water”, (Patent No. EP1885477, EP1937395) was selected together with 14 other outstanding inventions in five categories from a field of several hundred proposals. Aquaporin will be participating in the category “Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises” as one of only three nominees.

The winners of the prestigious prize will be announced and honoured at the award ceremony on June 17, 2014 in Berlin, Germany. The award ceremony will be opened by German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
